Patti LaBelle, 71, is dating 41-year-old drummer Eric Sears, who she hired several years ago to be her drummer.
He’s toured with legendary musicians and artists like Stevie Wonder, Mary J. Blige, Timbaland and Missy Elliott, as well as produced songs for Destiny’s Child.
“She tried to keep it quiet, but everyone around her has figured things out now. She’s completely smitten with him and they spend so much time together,” said the source.
