Hollywood reacted with sadness, stories and final praise to the news that  comedian and acting legend Mickey Rooney had died on Sunday. He  was 93.

Learning of the passing on Sunday night, Hollywood reacted with sadness and  at least one joke from “Parks and Recreation” actor Billy Eichner along with a  final shot taken from podcaster Julie Klausner, who ironically is a writer on  Eichner’s “Billy on the Street.”

Rooney earned four Oscar nominations overall in a career spanning 87  years. He won an Emmy and an honorary Oscar in a long career  that included his own television shows and appearances in films such as  “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” and “It’s a Mad, Mad World.”
