Liam Neeson to return, get paid for ‘Taken 3’

But will ‘Taken 2’ director Olivier Megaton also return?

  • Liam Neeson has agreed to return for “Taken 3,” and will reportedly earn a career-high $20 million for the picture. According to Deadline, now that Neeson’s participation is guaranteed, the production is on track for a February start. The only question that seemingly remains is whether “Taken 2” director and Histlist-fave Olivier Megaton will also return for the three-quel.
Also in question? Uh… What’s the plot? After rescuing daughter, his ex-wife, and, you know, himself, Neeson’s ex-CIA agent Bryan Mills wouldn’t seem to have any relatives left to be kidnapped. Also, which major European/Middle Eastern/Asian city is he going to destroy next? Beijing? Johannesburg? Monte Carlo? Could he be headed for South America instead?
