Soul singer Anita Baker is a wanted woman in  Detroit after failing to show up in court for a scheduled hearing on  Wednesday.

An arrest warrant for the “Sweet Love” singer has been issued.

Lawmakers put her on alert when she allegedly failed to show for a court date  in an ongoing battle with Ray Smith Painting and Decorating.

Bosses of the company sued Baker for payment of $15,000-worth of services  performed inside her Grosse Pointe home, according to TMZ.

Ward’s representatives have yet to comment on the story.

The plaintiff’s attorney Dan Gerow claims Baker did not pay for carpentry,  plastering and painting work in 2009
