Aretha Franklin has sparked fresh  fears for her health after she canceled another show due to “unfortunate  circumstances.”

The soul superstar pulled out of her summer dates so she could continue to  receive treatment for an undisclosed illness but was thought to be planning a  return to the stage next month. However, Franklin has now pulled out of a show  in Atlanta on Sept. 21.

A statement from the Fox Theatre reads, “Due to unfortunate  circumstances, Aretha Franklin’s show at the Fox Theatre on September 21 has  been canceled. Tickets purchased for the show will be refunded by the Fox  Theatre Ticket Office.”

Franklin, 71, wrote an open letter to fans last month apologizing for the  slew of cancellations, saying she had to prioritize her health.
