Bobbi Kristina Brown: Nick Gordon Takes Legal Action to See Wife in Hospital – Family Forbids Visit!

The troubled lover of Whitney Houston’s comatose daughter has taken legal action in an attempt to stop her family from barring him from seeing her, a relative said Thursday.

Bobbi Kristina Brown’s boyfriend, Nick Gordon, 22, was banned from Emory University Hospital in Atlanta after he got into a heated argument with family members at her bedside, according to reports.

Some of Bobbi Kristina’s relatives, including her aunt Leolah Brown, have blamed Gordon for her grave condition, and want him to be prosecuted.

But now Gordon — who was raised as Whitney Houston’s unofficial adopted son — has gone to court to challenge the family, said Bobbi Kristina’s cousin.

“He’s taken legal action in that matter to get visits to see Krissi,” Jerod Brown said in an interview aired Thursday with WXIA-TV’s 11Alive in Atlanta.

Jerod Brown said he’d been acting as an intermediary for Gordon and Bobbi Kristina’s family, including her father, R&B singer Bobby Brown. He acknowledged the tension between the family and Gordon.

“I’m not in the business of pointing fingers,” he said. “You know, America is about guilty until proven innocent. Well right now, everybody’s innocent until proven guilty to me. The only thing I care about is the well-being of my cousin.”

Jerod Brown — the son of Bobby Brown’s late sister, Bethy — said Gordon is “pretty torn up” over Bobbi Kristina having to battle for her life.

“We sit there and we talk about several things: how he’s dealing with the situation, what he would like my family to know and what he would love Krissi to know, and that is that he loves Krissi,” he said. “He’s just waiting for her to wake up.”

Meanwhile, worried relatives of Bobbi Kristina spent the three-year anniversary of Whitney Houston’s death on Wednesday praying for the recovery of her only child, Brown’s aunt confirmed in a statement.

The family kept a grim vigil at the 21-year-old’s bedside as she remained on life support after being pulled from a bathtub at her suburban Atlanta home on Jan. 31.

“On this, the third anniversary of Whitney’s passing, our family continues to stand together praying that Bobbi Kristina continues to fight for her life,” aunt Pat Houston, president of the late “Bodyguard” star’s estate, said in the heartrending statement posted on Houston’s website Wednesday.

“We thank you again for your continued prayers of love and restoration, and we thank you for respecting the family’s privacy at this time,” Pat, who is married to Houston’s brother Gary Houston, said.

Bobbi Kristina is the only daughter of Houston and Bobby Brown.

Her grandmother Cissy Houston arrived at the hospital to be with her about 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, leaning on a cane as she walked quietly through the emergency entrance.

The family has been calling for prayers since Brown was found face down in a full bathtub in her townhome in Alpharetta, Ga., while Gordon was in another room.

Friend Max Lomas discovered Brown and called 911, saying she was unresponsive.

Local police have opened a criminal investigation.

Brown reportedly had injuries to her face and mouth, an unidentified police source told WSB-TV in Atlanta.

It was Feb. 11, 2012, that Houston was found face-down and unresponsive in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton hotel on the eve of that year’s Grammy Awards.

She accidentally drowned at the scene, just feet away from a spoon containing white crystals and white powder caked on a mirror, her final autopsy report revealed.

Her room contained multiple prescription drugs and open alcohol containers, the report said.

The coroner listed heart disease and cocaine as contributing factors to her shocking death.

Jerod Brown posted a tribute to his aunt Wednesday on Facebook.

“You will never know the last moment you will experience, the last conversation you will have, the last photo you will take,” he wrote, posting his last picture with Houston and Brown taken before the legendary singer’s death.

“One thing auntie was about was Family. Right or wrong, Family is Family. It was an honor to have known you, to be loved by you, and to be inspired by you,” he wrote, adding the hashtag #WakeUpBK.

In Thursday’s interview, Jerod Brown denied reports that the family was close to taking Bobbi Kristina off life support.

“We wouldn’t do that to Krissi. I wouldn’t want someone to do that to me if I was in that situation,” he said.

But he conceded Bobbi Kristina’s condition remains bleak.

“The act of being well again would be a miracle,” he said. “Right now, we have the chance to save Bobbi Kristina and the best way we can save her right now is through prayer.”
